Well-known triathlete Petr Vabroušek, yoga lessons, a first aid course and lots of other activities… staff have a lot to look forward to. We have approached the issue in the broadest sense possible. Take a look for yourself.

The Health, Safety and Sustainability Week took place from Monday, 12th October to Friday, 16th October 2020.

How many of us associate “sustainability” or “sustainable development” “only” with the environment? Yet this only represents 1/3 of what is hidden behind the word “sustainability”.

As humans, we carry significant responsibility for sustainability, in particular through the way we live.

In this regard, our health and personal safety is a major issue. Many Health, Safety and Sustainability Week activities therefore focus on these areas.

Which workshop(s) should you go to?

What follows provides a taste of what was on offer in the programme.

Run with Petr Vabroušek

Sport is not just about performance, but also about regeneration and relaxation. How do top athletes prepare themselves? You’ll get a lot of advice and experience in a discussion with the well-known triathlete Petr Vabroušek.

BONUS: After the lecture, you’ll be able to join Petr on a run through the countryside!

By simulating real life situations, we will practice reactions and procedures in relation to common injuries, including potential life-threatening ones. Fortunately, it will only be a dry run! After all, he who fails to prepare prepares to fail.

Calculating your carbon footprint

Going to work by car, bicycle or e-bike? Prefer public transport? What about generating waste? How do you heat your home?

During the workshop on Monday and Tuesday, you will get a picture of your personal carbon footprint. How can you reduce it? We will give you some useful tips.

What other activities will there be?

For example, a badminton tournament, fire training with evacuation, voluntary donation of blood and a lecture on supporting the immune system. There is a lot – just keep an eye on the noticeboards and displays in the workplace and in the dining room.

What about Covid?

Don´t worry. We are aware of the current situation and have adapted everything accordingly. The workshops will take place with a small number of participants and according to the currently valid rules.
